About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Human Resources to lead HR functions in our Medellín office while also supporting HR operations in the U.S. This role is ideal for a proactive, people-focused professional who can oversee HR compliance and reporting, onboarding and offboarding, recruitment, and office management, across both regions. Key Responsibilities:
- HR Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with local and U.S. labor laws, maintain employee records, and generate HR reports as needed.
- HR Support for U.S. Operations: Collaborate with U.S.-based leadership to assist with HR initiatives, compliance, and workforce management.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a resource for employees,
addressing concerns and promoting a positive company culture.
- Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures in alignment with company values and legal requirements.
- Recruitment, Onboarding, and Offboarding: Lead hiring efforts, coordinate candidate interviews, and manage seamless onboarding and offboarding for new employees in Colombia and the U.S. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8+ years of HR experience, preferably in an international or multi-location company.
- Strong understanding of Colombian labor laws and familiarity with U.S. HR regulations.
- Proven experience in recruiting, onboarding, and compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
