EXECUTEL Bogota, D.C., Capital District, Colombia We are looking for a proactive and hands-on IT Support Engineer (L2-L3) / System Administrator to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, provide technical support, and ensure seamless operations across various systems. This role requires a solid foundation in IT support, networking, and system administration with the ability to handle escalated technical issues and work on infrastructure improvements. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktops, applications, networks, and cloud services.
Administer and maintain Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, and Office 365/Google Workspace environments.
Troubleshoot and configure networking components (firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, VLANs). Implement security best practices , including endpoint protection, access control, and patch management.
Manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), including monitoring, backup, and performance optimization. Support virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and ensure system stability. Automate IT tasks and improve workflows using PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting .
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for troubleshooting and implementing IT projects. Maintain documentation for configurations, troubleshooting steps, and user guides. Qualifications & Skills: Education & Experience: 2-4 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar role.
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Technical Skills: Networking fundamentals (firewalls, VPNs, routing, switching). Basic scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash) is a plus.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams. Clear communication skills and documentation habits.
