Overview As part of the Engineering organization, you will be a full-stack senior developer as part of a 6-8 person agile team developing and maintaining new and existing functionality of a SaaS business application for the energy sector. The candidate will collaborate with Product Management and Customer Success to design, develop, and deploy solutions to customers.

What You Will

Do: 1. Provide mentorship to a small team that may include international developers to deliver value quickly to customers. 2. Develop sound technical and functional solutions to a given problem domain.

3. Participate in full life-cycle development of SaaS business applications for external customers. 4.



Provide daily status updates and identify issues which may impede progress, propose, and implement resolutions to those impediments. 5. Must be able to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.

6. Exhibit strong technical analysis skills and routinely considers architectural-level issues. 7. Work independently as necessary. 8. Continuously look for opportunities to expand your knowledge in the technical and business domain.

9. Work with Customer Success to troubleshoot issues. 10. Evaluate the source of defects, recommend solutions, and implement action plans. 11. Perform complex analysis, design and coding activities for a SaaS application deployed/hosted in a public cloud.

12. Assist Product Owner in grooming the backlog, clarifying acceptance criteria and adding technical requirements. 13. Research and troubleshoot problems discovered by product support and develop solutions. 14. Participate in performance testing, results evaluation, and action plans.

15. Champion automated unit testing as part of the software development cycle. 16.



Follow & establish coding standards and development processes. 17. Lead & evaluate proof of concepts for continuous improvement, which may include new patterns, cloud services and tools to advance the product.

18. Help plan sprints, run daily standups and retrospectives. 19. And other duties as assigned. What to Bring:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other computer-related field or equivalent experience. 2. 6-8+ years work-related experience, preferably in SaaS applications. 3. Experience leading a small team using agile methodologies.

4. Hands-on development using IDEs such as Microsoft Visual Studio, code repo management and CI/CD experience. 5. Strong knowledge of these technologies: 6. JavaScript.

7. API (.NET, NodeJS). 8. Relational databases. 9. Public cloud experience.

10. Knowledge of agile development processes. 11.



Knowledge of common development patterns used in a multi-tier system. 12. Thorough technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation.

13. Excellent analytical and design skills at the enterprise level. 14. Excellent understanding of entire development process, including specifications, user stories, documentation and quality assurance. 15. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills within a team dynamic.

16. Demonstrates extensive knowledge of the technical skills necessary for completing own assignments and code reviewing other's work. 17. Experience in supporting projects in both development and production environments, including external customer environments. 18. Proficient with Microsoft Office.

19. Ability to delegate work and ensure delivery to a defined schedule. 20. Self-motivated learner,



proactive in seeking help, with a passion for producing high-quality work product. 21. Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Nice to Have: 1. AngularJS.

2. Azure. 3. Professional certifications a plus. 4. Experience serving the energy industry a plus.

Additional Details 1. Background Check: The successful candidate will need to successfully complete the following clearances: Criminal History Check, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Driver’s License Verification and Passport/ID validation. 2. Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in Colombia is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.
