The aim of the CMO area is to take care of the delivery, implementation and deployment of new features and products to the market, in the shortest and most cost-optimized way.

The Amadeus products ecosystem counts dozens and dozens interconnected products and, with the new deliveries, it is very important not to break the behavior of this ecosystem. The EVA team is a Quality Assurance team born in 2018 and belonging to IMP area, which aim is to fill the “last mile” of quality between R&D; and the market configurations in a seamless way. Summary of the role:

- The role of a QA team member in the EVA team is to perform test campaigns to ensure new deliveries are correctly integrated into various market configurations and meet market-specific requirements.
- Your approach to validation as an EVA QA team member is strictly end-to-end, requiring you to think and act like a travel or airline agent, and to create test scenarios that replicate common best practices in the travel industry.
- You must have the required technical and functional knowledge and experience in your discipline,



as well as an understanding of the Amadeus business and its relation to your area.
- You will work using existing procedures or guidelines and provide input to support and influence area decisions.

You will make recommendations on new solutions and propose improvements by analyzing different sources of information. You will work with a moderate level of guidance and direction from the manager. In this role you’ll: Implement test strategy

- Define test cases from customer’s requirements and ensure traceability with specifications.
- Write test plan (functional and/or non-functional and/or non-regression).
- Ensure improvement of non-regression test repository in the Change Request plan.

Design and perform tests

- Design test cases and develop automated test case scripts.
- Prepare test environment, test data, and execute test cases.




- Give go/no-go for the customer’s test campaign.
- Be responsible for the project, product or release quality control.

Fix Problem Tracking Records

- Provide information to developers in order to fix defects
- Check PTR fix and give go/no-go for the load of Production PTRs
- Document software defects.

Share your knowledge

- Participate in specification reviews to give input on testing requirements.
- Report and communicate on test activities to the line organization, software developers and product definitions analysts.

About the ideal candidate: Business Understanding

- Strong knowledge of the travel industry (2-4 years spent working in for a travel agency, tour operator or airline)
- Strong appetite for quality engineering role
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to interact with clients and team members




- Very good communication skills being able to adapt to different audiences (product or development).

Skills

- Good level of autonomy in QA aspects
- The capability to work in a multicultural, global environment
- Good relational skills and team spirit
- Basic understanding of development life cycle and CI/CD tools
- Keen at learning new technologies: curiosity and openness are a must
- Great problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and solve issues before they evolve into big incidents
- Interest in technical projects is a plus
