About the Role We are looking for an experienced and proactive Operations Coordinator to manage the day-to-day logistics of our Colombia Delivery Center and drive initiatives that foster employee engagement.
This role ensures efficient operational processes, oversees logistics, and drives activities that enhance team motivation and cohesion.
The ideal candidate will consolidate our operations, aligning them with Xebia's global standards while promoting a positive and dynamic work environment.
Location: Medellín or Bogotá, Colombia (Hybrid).
What You'll Do Operations Coordination Oversee the day-to-day operational activities, including logistics, office administration, and vendor and IT equipment management.
Ensure all operational processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with Xebia's global standards and policies.
Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers, ensuring service levels meet organizational expectations.
Drive the management of office resources, IT equipment, and facilities, ensuring that the necessary tools and technology are available for employees to perform their work effectively.
Employee Engagement Lead engagement initiatives to create a motivated and collaborative work environment, focusing on employee well-being, satisfaction, and team cohesion.
Organize and manage events, recognition programs, and team-building activities that foster a positive culture and align with Xebia's values.
Partner with HR to address employee suggestions, ensuring feedback is integrated into engagement strategies and operational improvements.
Strategic Initiatives Work closely with the Delivery Center Head and global operations teams to align the Colombia office with broader organizational goals.
Provide the leadership team with insights and recommendations on operational efficiency and employee engagement.
Support cross-functional projects and initiatives that require operational input or oversight,
contributing to the overall success of Xebia in Colombia and LATAM.
What You Bring 3+ years of experience in operations management, logistics, or a related field, especially in software services, consulting, or similar industries.
Strong understanding of operational systems and infrastructure, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and external service providers.
Knowledge of facilities compliance and regulations, including compliance with Colombia's SG-SST (Sistema de Gestión de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo) requirements.
Experience managing employee engagement initiatives, team-building events, or cultural programs that promote a positive work environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on finding cost-effective, efficient solutions to operational challenges.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work crossfunctionally and build strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors.
Experience working in a global organization.
Fluent in English.
