In this role you’ll :
Common accountabilities :
- Has the required technical / functional knowledge and experience in own discipline. Knowledge of the Amadeus business and how it is related to own area.
- Works using existing procedures or guidelines and provides inputs to support / influence area decisions. Makes recommendations on new solutions and proposes improvements by analyzing different sources of information.
- Works with a moderate level of guidance and direction from manager.
Specific accountabilities :
- Assess requirementsBuild, maintain and share the functional knowledge of our processes,
services and usage of end user products.Analyze business requirements submitted by Product Management.Size specification and validation work.
- Carry out functional designWrite Feasibility Studies, Solution Overview Documents, Interface Control Documents, Product Specifications and present functional walk-throughs to all concerned stakeholders.Interface with relevant divisions and departments to identify interactions with other Amadeus applications and ensure functional compatibility.
- Overview validationContribute to the implementation of the test strategy, and review test plan, to ensure compliance of the delivered functionality and system integrityEnsure traceability of tests with specificationsEnsure production integrity by investigating, validating and prioritizing reported incidents.
- Manage relations with key stakeholdersInterface and communicate with Product Management,
Project management, Amadeus Customer Services, Implementation, Migration and Development teams.Interface with the customer during requirements understanding, functional specification, testing and implementation phases.
- Participate to team eventsSupport team stakeholders by participating to team ceremonies : Agile forums, Team meetings, Solution assessments.
About the ideal candidate :
We are seeking a skilled Functional Analyst with desired expertise in airport software solutions. The ideal candidate should have a university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field. With a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack development, including mentoring other team members, the candidate will bring professional Pdef / FA experience to the role.
Strong solutioning skills for airport software are essential, along with familiarity in working with Jira, Scrum, and Agile methodologies. Excellent communication (both oral and written) and analytical problem-solving abilities are required. The candidate should be able to provide technical guidance to the team. Additionally, having knowledge of Jenkins, Confluence, travel domain (especially in airline and airport sectors), NoSQL databases (preferably Couchbase), and cloud technologies (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker) would be advantageous.
