The Associate Director will meaningfully contribute to generating and executing complex engagements on behalf of large domestic and multinational clients, with responsibilities including: Forensic investigations Compliance consulting The position will be focused primarily on investigations and compliance consulting in the Andean Region, with additional requirements to cover and travel to other jurisdictions in the region to handle and oversee sensitive engagements.
The individual occupying this position will also be expected to spend part of their time developing local client relationships in the region to generate opportunities for the business.




Role Description Support the Director in understanding client needs and creating solutions to achieve client goals.
Support the Director in leading complex forensic investigations and compliance consulting projects in the Andean Region.
Help manage a team of consultants, liaising where necessary with colleagues in other jurisdictions.
Manage the project life cycle, from initial engagement with the client to final delivery of results.
Participate in client meetings and proactively develop business opportunities to strengthen and expand the investigations practice in the Andean Region.
Work alongside the marketing team to generate additional exposure for Control Risks, particularly with respect to forensic investigations and compliance consulting engagements.
Represent Control Risks by speaking at local and international events relating to the firm's service offering.
Cultivate long-term relationships with clients.
Role Tasks Technical Delivery (50% of Role) Exhibit technical expertise in the delivery of engagements and the preparation of quality proposals.
Act as a senior team member on engagements,



taking responsibility for the delivery of projects and overseeing delivery teams.
Design, execute and adapt project plans and budgets.
Ensure engagement deliverables address client expectations and are of a high quality.
Have advanced knowledge of how to embed technology into engagements as both a differentiator and to improve efficiencies.
Advisory/consulting experience as well as cross-sectoral experience is mandatory.
Operational & Risk (20% of Role) Monitor and mitigate risk on engagements from end to end, consulting with Directors, Principals and the Partner Group as needed.
Ensure that key decisions are recorded for future reference and that suitable quality and risk files are maintained.
Ensure that engagements are delivered to time and budget.
Ensure complete record keeping of engagement economics and business administration within CRM.




Ensure timely accrual of income, raising of invoices and cash receipt.
Business Development & Growth (20% of Role) Support the development of thought leadership and market initiatives.
Maintain and update our Client Relationship Management tool with relevant business information on our contacts, clients and opportunities.
Innovate and identify new routes to market or new service offerings.
Professional Development (10% of Role) Take ownership of personal development.
Motivate and mentor junior members to achieve full potential.
Provide strong coaching and training to enable junior members to achieve technical and operational excellence.
Requirements Demonstrated experience structuring, managing and delivering forensics and compliance projects.




Strong written and oral presentation skills to effectively communicate with diverse audiences of varying degrees of expertise in both English and Spanish.
Client relationship and business development skills, managing business development and improving engagement margin.
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work effectively in teams, ability to build relationships internally and externally with stakeholders at all levels within an organization.
