Sous Chef

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef at Agnes Chocolatier Agroforestal located in Bogota, D.C. The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations, preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, managing food inventory, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Experience with chocolate, wild and exotic fruits, Japanese, Nikkei or Peruvian food, sourcing unique Colombian ingredients, team leadership, classes and tastings, and English proficiency would be helpful.
MIchelin-level experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Culinary Arts, Food Preparation,
and Cooking skills
- Experience in managing food inventory and kitchen operations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- Menu planning and recipe development skills
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role
- Certification in Food Safety and Sanitation
