Position Overview:
ISA Foods is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Maritime Logistics Specialist to oversee international logistics operations. This role involves managing documentation, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely deliveries while upholding high-quality standards. The specialist will work closely with suppliers, transporters, and customers to facilitate smooth logistical operations.
Essential Duties:
Including but not limited to:
- Review and approval of vendor documentation.
- Monitoring container status and updating arrival dates.
- Ensuring timely payment to suppliers.
- Communicate shipment status to customers and sales teams.
- Manage supplier claims and identify new transportation vendors.
- Coordinate freight assignments and truck shipments at the port.
- Track truck movements and oversee arrivals of original documentation.
Essential Skills:
- Effective communication with customers and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data management.
- Service oriented mindset and problem solving skills.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in International Trade
- At least 2 years in international logistics operations, including day and night shifts.
Language Requirements:
- Fluency in English is desired.
