The Payroll Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with applicable laws, and detailed payroll reporting analysis. This role involves working closely with the HR, Finances, and Accounting teams to manage payroll systems, resolve payroll-related discrepancies and support process improvement initiatives. We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates thoroughness, expertise, and an innovative mindset to refine our payroll procedures and improve the accuracy of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare, review, and process regular payroll processes for employees in compliance with the Company policies and legal requirements.
- Ensure accuracy of payroll data, including wages, bonuses, deductions, taxes, and other withholdings.
- Process special payroll runs, such as off-cycle checks and terminations.




- Stay updated on federal (USA), state (PR), and local (Colombia) payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Generate and submit required payroll-related tax filings, including quarterly and annual returns.
- Prepare payroll-related reports for management, labor costs, and overtime analysis.
- Investigate and resolve employee inquiries regarding payroll, tax forms, or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Accounting teams to address payroll adjustments or data corrections.
- Maintain and update payroll systems to ensure data integrity and functionality.
- Partner with IT or external vendors to troubleshoot and improve payroll system performance.
- Analyze payroll workflows and recommend changes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Document payroll processes and procedures for consistency and training purposes.




- Engage in ongoing process improvement projects, proactively seeking and testing enhancements.

Required Skills/Education:

- Bachelor’s degree or associate in finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in Payroll Accounting.
- Ability to utilize independent judgment in establishing the accuracy and reasonableness of information.
- Proficient in payroll and/or HR software (Workday, ADP, Paylocity).
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel.
- Knowledgeable in ADP System and ERPs.
- Ability to share knowledge and information at different levels of the organization.
- Must be customer-friendly and focused with strong attention to detail.
- Produce necessary ad-hoc reports upon request.
- Apply expert-level MS Office skills, particularly in Excel,



for payroll management and data analysis.
- Efficiently handle and oversee ERP systems to facilitate flawless payroll operations.
- Exhibit a high level of stress resilience when managing payroll operations within strict deadlines.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong sense of responsibility and meticulous attention to detail.
- Skilled at handling and synthesizing information from diverse sources.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and deliver results.

Nice to have:

- Knowledge of handling payroll operations involving multiple currencies.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
